Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 cup Pecan Nuts (Chopped)
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
Method
- In a blender, combine the flour, salt, sugar, cocoa powder and chopped pecan nuts.
- Take a separate bowl and cream the vanilla extract and beaten eggs until peaks form.
- Gradually fold in the blended nut mixture while stirring continuously.
- Now add the chocolate chips and mix well.
- Roll out the dough on a floured board into foot-long logs.
- Place the logs on a greased baking tray.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes.
- Lift out of the oven and cut into thick slices.
Bake the slices again for another 10 minutes before serving.
- Biscotti should be stored in an airtight container to preserve taste and texture.
