Mixture Ingredients
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 2/3 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tbl Water
- 2 tbl Butter (Softened)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
Topping Mixture
- 1 cup Pecan Nuts (Chopped)
- 2 tbl Butter (Melted)
- 1 tbl Milk
- 30 Caramel Sweets / Candies
Method
- Take a saucepan and combine the butter and water over a medium heat.
- Remove from the heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and beaten eggs.
- Sift in the flour, sugar, salt and baking soda.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9“ cake tin.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 20 minutes.
- Lift the brownies out to cool on a wire rack.
- For the topping, combine the caramel candies with the butter and milk in a saucepan over a medium heat.
- Spread over the top of the brownies.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecan nuts.
