Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1-1/2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips (Dark)
- 3/4 cup Cocoa
- 2/3 cup Butter (Melted)
- 1/ cup Water (Boiled)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
Method
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the water, cocoa and baking soda while stirring.
- Now add in the beaten eggs, vanilla extract and salt. Stir until smooth and without lumps.
- Gradually fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9“ cake tin.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 45 minutes.
- Lift out to cool on a wire rack.
- Sprinkle generously with sugar.
