Black Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter (Softened)
  • 1/2 cup Baking Chocolate
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)

Method

  1. In a saucepan over a medium heat, combine the butter, sugar and milk.
  2. Sift in the flour and baking soda while stirring.
  3. Add the chocolate to the mixture.
  4. Pour into a blender and whisk until smooth and without lumps.
  5. Pour into a greased 8“ cake tin.
  6. Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Lift out and cool on a wire rack.
  8. Sprinkle generously with sugar to finish.
