Black Forest Cake

Ingredients

• 1-1/4 cup Whipping Cream
• 1/2 cup White Sugar
• 1/4 cup Cherry Brandy
• 1 pkt Cherry Pie Filling
• 1 pkt Dark Chocolate Cake Mix

Method

1. Make up the cherry cake mix according to the instructions on the packet.
2. After it has cooled down, sprinkle generously with the cherry brandy.
3. Using a large bowl, whip up the cream with some sugar until stiff.
4. Cover the first layer of the cake with the cream mixture and cherries, then set on the top layer.
5. Decorate lavishly with cherries and whipped cream.
6. Sprinkle generously with chocolate shavings if desired.
