Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Walnuts (Chopped)
- 3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 3/4 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tin Cherry Pie Filling
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
Method
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the white sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, baking soda, salt, flour and salt. Mix until smooth and without lumps.
- Gradually add in the chopped walnuts, cherry pie filling and chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 8“ cake tin.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 75 minutes.
- Lift out and cool on a wire rack.
- Sprinkle generously with sugar.
