Ingredients
- 3 cups Flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Chocolate Syrup
- 1 cup Butter (Softened)
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 4 Eggs (Beaten)
Method
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the beaten eggs, sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Put the chocolate into a bowl and melt over a saucepan of hot water.
- Take the bowl off the heat, then stir in the chocolate chips, chocolate syrup and creamed mixture.
- While stirring continuously, pour in the milk.
- Keep mixing while sifting in the flour.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9“ cake tin.
- Put in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 90 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let the cool on a wire rack.
