Ingredients
- 1-3/4 cups Flour
- 1-1/2 cups White Sugar
- 3/4 cup Butter (Softened)
- 1/2 cup Whipping Cream
- 1/2 cup Black Coffee (Brewed)
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 4 Eggs (Beaten)
- 4 Chocolate Bars
Method
- Take a large bowl and combine the whipping cream, brewed black coffee, flour, softened butter, salt, baking powder and vanilla extract.
- Pour into a 8“ wide, greased cake pan.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for about 60 minutes.
- Remove from oven and place on a wire rack.
- Place the 4 chocolate bars in a bowl over a saucepan full of hot water.
- After they have melted, spread the chocolate over the top of the cake.
