Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 cup Demerera Sugar
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 cup Butter (Softened)
- 1/4 cup Egg Substitute
- 1 tbl Instant Coffee Granules
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Method
- Place the butter, sugar and egg substitute in a blender and combine.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, salt and coffee granules while mixing.
- Now pour in the softened butter and combine well.
- Gradually fold in the chocolate chips while stirring gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 10 minutes or until brown.
- Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
