Chocolate Almond Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk (Full Cream)
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Chocolate (Chopped)
  • 3/4 cup Almond Butter
  • 4 tbl Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Eggs (Beaten)

Method

  1. Place the chopped chocolate in a bowl and melt over a saucepan of hot water.
  2. When melted, gradually stir in the milk and cocoa powder.
  3. Take a separate bowl and cream the beaten eggs and white sugar.
  4. Fold the chocolate mix, vanilla extract, almond butter and whipping cream into the cream mixture.
  5. Stir until smooth, then cover and refridgerate for 2 hours.
  6. Pour into an ice cream maker and process, then freeze.
